Weycrest's entire ethos is geared towards being eco-friendly and green. All non-essential electrical equipment is turned off at night and energy saving appliances are used wherever possible throughout the office. Wherever possible paperwork is minimized with most systems including billing available online. They have also ensured the electricity supply for their unit is sourced from renewable, sustainable sources.

Located in Eco Friendly Business Centre
Weycrest have relocated their business operation in an eco friendly business centre in East London, next to the River Thames, opposite the famous O2 Arena. The buildings are constructed entirely from recycled shipping containers!

The UK's first Carbon Neutral Datacentre
This is traditionally the least green aspect of a web hosts operations. Racks of servers, extensive air conditioning to keep things cool. So the first step in making Weycrest's operations more environmentally friendly was to find a data centre that would voluntarily offset all the CO2 emissions caused by their servers.

World Land Trust
Weycrest's data centre has chosen the conservation charity - World Land Trust as the organisation to carry out their offset. Working through local partners World Land Trust regenerates degraded forest in Ecuador, planting native species on land next to standing forest. This not only takes CO2 out of the atmosphere it also extends existing wildlife reserves, thus preserving threatened habitat and biodiversity.
